''Pull changes from Make app'' is missing!

In custom app documentation, there is nothing in Pull changes from Make app section…

Wish it will be back soon :eyes:

Hello @cfl.jimbo welcome to the Make Community.

We’ve shared your feedback with the documentation team, and we’ll keep you updated on any progress.

Thank you very much for flagging this

Also, there is now a changelog for changes in the documentation. You can subscribe to changes too, although I hope the publish-messages will be more elaborate: https://developers.make.com/changelog/make/custom-apps-documentation

Cheers,
Henk

Thank you!
I understand that there are many big moves about custom apps recently.
It’s normal that this happened.
Just want to know if there’s anyway can feedback to the team?

Thanks a lot for your understanding

Direct feedback is planned for the future but until it’s available, feel free to share your feedback here in the community or through a support ticket.

Hi @Michaela,

I signed up for the updates on this page: https://developers.make.com/changelog/make/custom-apps-documentation, but I did not receive any e-mail. Until this morning… I have received 6 so far (which doesn’t make sense, there are 0 updates today).

But I cannot unsubscribe? If I click the link in the mail, Theneo wants me to log in? I did not have an account? Of course, I made one, followed the link again and got some general confirmation… But then I received another mail.

How can we make this stop, please?

(another mail received while I was typing this)

Cheers,
Henk

EDIT: another mail!

Hi -

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention, and I’m really sorry for the spam you’ve received.

Here’s how it should be: whenever we make updates, users who are subscribed get email notifications. However, we’re currently experiencing some issues as we’ve recently migrated our documentation to a new tool. The process isn’t running smoothly yet.

To make sure you don’t receive any more emails during this phase, we’ve canceled your subscription. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.

Thank you again for your feedback.

Hi @EllaD,

Thank you for your response! I understand the migration comes with hiccups.

I have contacted Theneo yesterday myself, too. (after I was forced to create an account to unsubscribe). As of then, I did not receive mails any more, so all is good now

I will share with you what I told them: If you provide a service to individuals in the European Economic Area, you must adhere to GDPR. It is unheard of that I have to create an account in order to unsubscribe from a newsletter (which is then faulty). And a newsletter it is, the notification mails only contain marketing content for Theneo and zero information about the update in the documentation. This is a direct violation of the Right to Withdraw Consent, which states that I must be able to withdraw my consent at any time and that the withdrawing must be as easy as it was to give consent. I hope you will make that clear to them too.

Anyway, not mad, I just hate that Theneo operates this way

Cheers,
Henk
