"Search Items by column value" not returning expected results

Hi, returning to development in Make after a several year hiatus and I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. I start my scenario with watching for changed/updated items on a Monday board. When detected, moves to second module which is “Search Items by column value” looking for an empty value in a date column; see screenshot.

In testing, my first module returns exactly what I expect it to. My second module returns no output.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi @gtnmediaproduction

If you pass null it will check for the items with the column value “null”
instead you can try {{null}} or {{emptystring}} variable
