Slack block kit that i can interact with make

So I am very confused as to how slack block kits work as I can send block kit into slack but the one I have used is an interactive one so I want it when I click approve this the sends some info which is handle by a webhook in make. I think I need to setup an app but it seems very strange the way to connect the block kit I send with make to the app I create within slack. ANy help would be great
