I’m Amber Dunn, founder of MethodMade Studio.
I help small businesses untangle workflows that have gradually become a mix of forms, inboxes, calendars, spreadsheets, CRMs, manual follow-up, and “someone just knows what happens next.”
I’ve spent more than 20 years in software and engineering, and my approach is pretty simple: understand the real workflow first, then use the smallest reliable fix.
That often includes Make for things like:
• Lead and customer intake
• Scheduling and appointment workflows
• Follow-up and reminder systems
• Forms → spreadsheets → CRM handoffs
• Google Sheets and operational data workflows
• API and webhook integrations
• Routing, validation, and exception handling
• AI-assisted classification, summarization, or conversational intake
• Human review and escalation when a workflow should not make the decision by itself
I also work beyond Make when the workflow needs it, including APIs, n8n, React, TypeScript, Node.js, databases, and focused internal tools.
I’m especially interested in the messy middle: the workflow technically “works,” but people are still copying information around, checking multiple places, remembering follow-ups, or fixing the same exceptions by hand.
If Make is the right tool, I’ll build around it. If a simpler process change, spreadsheet cleanup, or different approach makes more sense, I’ll say that too.
