Unable to Connect to QBO - "Token already exist.","code":"IM006" error

Connect to QuickBooks Online

:thinking: What is the problem & what have you tried?

I created a connection to a Company in QBO. After testing a scenario i tried to connect to a different company in QBO but keep getting the following error {“detail”:“Token not found.”,“message”:“Token already exist.”,“code”:“IM006”}
I tried deleting the existing connection in Make as well as the integration from QBO. I then logged into Make via Incognito mode but still get the same error.

At the moment, our development team is aware of an issue where connections to QuickBooks are not being created. They are actively investigating this with high priority. Thank you so much for being patient with us as we work through this, and get this issue resolved :folded_hands:

Hi @Marina I am facing the same issue while trying to connect to QB. Is there an ETA on when this possibly be resolved? What would be the best way to track the updates on this?

Same here. I also created client keys in the developer portal of Intuit and still got the same error. I’ve removed the App and reconnected several times without any changes. Thanks @Marina {“detail”:“Token not found.”,“message”:“Token already exist.”,“code”:“IM006”} I hope we have a resolution soon.

It’s unbelievable to think that it’s been almost two weeks and the so-called “experts” still haven’t been able to fix a simple OAuth flow.

I was already considering moving my automations away from Make, and after this experience, that decision is pretty much made.

I can’t afford to have my system down for 10 days because Make’s team can’t figure out how to properly exchange tokens with QuickBooks.

is there still no update for me I am only getting the error on a company i have previously connected to not new ones

Hey @Matthew_Murphy can you let me know the browser you are using to make new connections to QBO? or are you using QBO Production credentials for the connection? I am still facing same issue with new connection. Thanks in advance!

I was mistaken because i got to an extra step with a new client but I cant get it to work for new clients as well.
