Unable to create connection between Notion database and Make

I am attempting to connect a specific Notion database to Make, but am having some trouble doing so.

What I have tried:

  1. Navigate to the Notion database I’d like to connect
  2. Click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner
  3. Hover over “Connect To”, and click on “Make” (as shown)

  1. Click confirm in the popup window

Instead of a connection being established, the main Make integration page within Notion’s library (Make-Einbindungen | Verbinde deine Apps mit Notion) opens up.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

Yeah me too. Having the same problem!

I observed the same on Notion side if there was no connection established yet. It changed once I established a connection, which I did from Make side. It also seemed a bit unintuitive to me that I needed to establish the connection first, before I could ‘connect’ pages or databases (which seems to add them to an existing connection).

Disclaimer though: I am a first-time notion user
