Updating connection (drive and gmail mostly)

Hello

My scenario keeps on having “connections error” → see attachements

It looks like I have to go very often verify and reauthorize my connection, especially for gmail and drive.

Is there a way to avoid that ? Can we extend the time validity of the connection ?

Unfortunately, there is no other way to extend validity time (7 days). This authorization is a part of Gmail security and privacy.

I’ve never had to reauthorise my Gmail & Drive connection. Could you explain what steps you took when you created the connection?

that’s a big issue …

That will mess up my scenario and also it will be to much of an hassle

What other solution do we have with gmail ?
or Maybe use an other email platform ?

If you do a connection account with gmail domain and you connect your account by Oauth you have to do in 7 days.
If your accounts are other than @gmail there is no need to do that…

No you cannot. You can use other to send mail.

If you don’t want to keep reconnecting, you need to create a custom OAuth application (which is what I did). Just follow the instructions in green, which goes to this link: Connecting to Google services using custom OAuth client

Thanks for your quick answer. I already did the OAuth authorization but It keeps on asking me every week to reconnect and it messes up my scenarios …

You did the Oauth ? And you do not have to reauthorize every week the connection ?
