“Verify Token” field missing in Webhook module (Meta / WhatsApp Business API integration)

:bullseye: What is your goal?

creating a new webhook to connect to Meta (for WhatsApp Business API), the “Verify Token” field never appears, even though it’s required to validate the callback URL in Meta’s developer settings.

 What is the problem & what have you tried?

Here’s what I’ve already tried — none of which worked:

  • Created a brand-new scenario from scratch
  • Deleted all previous webhooks
  • Cleared my browser cache
  • Logged out and back into Make
  • Clicked “Choose a hook” and selected “Create a webhook” (did not click “Add” directly)
  • Activated the webhook before trying Meta verification
  • Tried in multiple browsers and sessions

Still, the “Verify Token” field is missing, and I cannot complete the webhook validation process on Meta’s side

:clipboard: Error messages or input/output bundles

Could you please confirm whether this is a bug or if the feature has moved?

Thank you very much for your help.

You should not need to insert a “Verify Token”. Can you show screenshots of what you’re trying to do?

To allow others to assist you, please provide the following:

1. All Relevant Screenshots

We need to see what you’re working with to give you the best advice. Screenshots are important because Make is a visual editor — a picture provides us with more context.

It would help us identify the issue by having screenshots of:

  • relevant module fields (showing how you’ve used any built-in functions, and how you’ve mapped the variables),
  • relevant filters between modules (showing which operators and any built-in functions you’ve used, and how you’ve mapped the variables),
  • relevant module input/output bubbles,
  • if applicable, any error messages,
  • and if applicable, any external services (spreadsheet headers/ sample data/ regex101.com/ etc. to show the item/ record exists, and is set up correctly).

@Judith_Louis Are you using the native Custom Webhook module, or the Watch Events module in the WhatsApp Business Cloud app?

Using the Watch Events module should handle everything for you.
