We are hiring an AI Automation Engineer | $90k-$160k

We are Serotonin, the firm that helped take Ethereum to market. Today we run GTM for 300+ clients across crypto and AI.

We are building the AI layer across our marketing operations and need someone to own it.

This is a systems role: diagnose workflow bottlenecks across PR, growth, content, and social, then build the automations that scale across all of them.

Strong prompt engineering, real production experience with automation tools, and enough API fluency to connect what does not connect natively.

Drop your best workflow story below or DM me.

Hi Kate —

Workflow story: I built an LLM ops layer for an enterprise team where the original problem was “people keep asking the same questions of our data, slowly, by hand” — high-volume repetitive queries eating 4-6 hours of ops time daily. We shipped a multi-tenant platform with natural-language input → structured output, 90%+ production accuracy.

The piece that solved scale wasn’t model choice. It was treating every prompt as a versioned release artifact with confusion-matrix accuracy tracked per intent class — so when one class started drifting, we caught it before customers did. Boring on paper. Decisive in production.

That muscle — diagnose where the workflow’s actually breaking, ship the structural fix, instrument so it doesn’t quietly drift — is the shape I see in your role. PR / growth / content / social each have their own bottleneck patterns, but the underlying ops discipline transfers cleanly.

One upfront on shape: India-based remote, and I structure new client work as 3-month contract engagements first, with both sides deciding on long-term form at the end. That keeps me sharp on delivery and gives you a clean off-ramp if the fit isn’t there. If you’re locked to FT only, totally fair — happy to step aside without burning your time.

If contract-first is workable, I’d want a 30-minute call this week to hear which marketing function is hurting the most right now — that’s where I’d start.

Hi Kate,

This sounds like a great fit for the type of automation work we deliver.

Just a quick question, are you specifically looking for individual contractors to join your bench, or would you also be open to partnering with a specialist automation agency?

At Flowbird Ltd, we’re a Make Partner and support agencies with both white-label and client-facing delivery. Our team has experience building complex Make.com solutions, including CRM and marketing operations, API-driven integrations, GraphQL workflows, and fintech/crypto automations involving KYC/KYB processes and Sumsub integrations.

If agency partnerships are something you’d consider, I’d be interested in learning more about how you’re structuring your delivery model and where you see opportunities for collaboration.

If there’s potential for a fit, feel free to DM me or contact me at [email protected].

Many Thanks,

Roshan

Hi Kate, a workflow story rather than a sales pitch, since that’s what you asked for.

For a UK firm I run ops for, leadership kept waiting on a manual weekly stock-and-data review. I rebuilt it in Make: it pulls the live catalogue (250+ items), uses an LLM to draft a plain-English briefing, and the part I’m proudest of, it flags data-integrity problems instead of writing confidently around them. A bad input surfaces as a warning, not a clean-looking wrong number. Goes out every Monday 07:00, untouched by hand. It got called out by name in a board meeting, which is the only review metric I care about.

I build on Make plus custom APIs and JSON, with prompt engineering across Claude and Gemini. Honest note: Make is my main tool, n8n I’m familiar with rather than expert.

I’m not putting myself forward for the full-time seat (I’m in the Philippines, already engaged part-time with a UK firm), but if it would ever help to have someone take build load off your eventual hire on a part-time or contract basis, that’s exactly my lane. I’ve sent you a quick note on LinkedIn with my details so you can reach me there.

Hey @Adrian_Clark_Rodrigu would love to chat. Can you DM me?

Hi! I’m Misha, an automation and LLM integration expert. With 300+ crypto and AI clients, the biggest challenge isn’t creating more content—it’s eliminating operational bottlenecks between PR, growth, content, and social teams. I build AI-powered systems that identify workflow friction, automate repetitive execution, connect disconnected platforms through APIs, and create scalable pipelines for content generation, approvals, reporting, lead management, and campaign operations. The result is faster execution, lower operational overhead, and a marketing engine that scales client delivery without scaling headcount.

Hi Kate,

I can help with the workflow side on a project-first basis if that is useful alongside the hire.

A recent pattern I have been working around is not “add AI to everything”; it is making a Make workflow easy to inspect before anyone trusts it with live operations. For marketing ops, I would start by turning one loop into a clear path: intake, source data, AI draft or decision, human approval, handoff, logging, and failure states.

For example, a first pass could be a campaign intake → angle/content draft → approval → channel handoff → reporting log workflow, built with sample data only. The important bit is keeping the AI step boxed in with structured output and review points, so the team can see why something moved forward or stopped.

If a small paid diagnostic or sample workflow teardown would help you screen fit before a bigger conversation, I am happy to do that.

Steve

Hi Kate,

I’ve been building Smart Cascadia — an AI automation system that does lead gen + CRM integration + multi-step workflows using Make, APIs, and Claude. Your workflow bottleneck diagnosis + prompt engineering requirement is exactly what I’ve been doing for the past 6 months.

Here’s what I can bring to your team:

Systems Thinking:
I built Smart Command, an operating system that takes automated lead data and surfaces it in a way that’s immediately actionable — segmented, scored, and ready for human decision-making. This is the kind of “diagnose bottlenecks AND build the system to solve them” thinking I’d apply to your PR, growth, content, and social workflows.

Execution:
Here’s the Make workflow that powers Smart Cascadia’s HVAC receptionist. It handles incoming leads, intelligent routing based on service type, CRM sync + enrichment, and follow-up automation — exactly the kind of multi-system orchestration your team needs.

Your Requirements:

  • Strong prompt engineering: I use Claude for lead classification and intelligent routing decisions
  • API fluency: I’ve built custom integrations with GoHighLevel, Claude AI, and webhook-based data pipelines beyond Make’s native connectors
  • Production automation experience: Smart Cascadia runs live, handling real HVAC leads daily

I’m currently pre-revenue on Smart Cascadia but actively maintaining and optimizing these systems. I’m available for contract work and would love to bring this level of diagnostic + build expertise to your team.

Let’s talk.

Best,
Tim
