My goal is to update a notion page content from chatgpt results.
The problem is the notion page content that is created is markdown and I’m only creating a single paragraph of text.
I understand that notion content is made of blocks, but since my content from chatgpt varies, I’m not sure how to create the header and paragraph blocks from the chatgpt results
I’ve tried:
- the text aggregator - same results, content is in markdown.
- The markdown app - converted to html - content in notion is html.
- using google docs as a middle app - same results the google doc is in markdown
Thanks in advance
No one solved this one so far? I’m stuck here too.
I am afraid nobody has solved it yet.
Which is a huge downer, because it should work: I just realised that the “Save to Notion” browser extension does just that: It imports long, complete web pages, including all the beautiful rich text/html/markdown formatting you could want, via API, into a new page. Even including images. It would also be perfect for .md LLM output .
Apparently they have figured out how to simply convert the formatted text into Notion’s block-based structure. Besides, this also works easily when pasting .md manually to a page
Even more frustrating: The regular database fields have a richt text option but can’t accept more than 2.000 characters via API
So why are we still stuck with Notion page modules that require us to define every unknown block in this rigid way?
We really need to figure this out!
Who’s talented or connected enough?
