When I add a contact from my Facebook Ad Form to my Keap/Infusionsoft CRM, what do I need to do to ensure the status is set to "Marketable" or "Unconfirmed" which means I have their permission to email them?

I am trying to get contact name and email from a Facebook form into KEAP/Infusionsoft. I have a Scenario setup in MAKE to pass the Facebook Lead Ad info to KEAP. KEAP is creating or updating the contact based on the email used. Then it is tagging them for the free resources they have requested via the Facebook Ad form. All of this is working.

The issue is KEAP is listing the new contacts as Non-Marketable which means I can’t email them.

Is there a setting I need to adjust or change in MAKE to let KEAP know that these emails were given with permission because they want the thing I’m giving away?

The normal status of most people on my KEAP mailing list that I CAN market to is “Unconfirmed” meaning I do not require a double optin and they have requested being added to our mailing list in one way or another. This is what I’m trying to achieve with the new Facebook ad leads also.

Any help or insights on this are appreciated!

Opt-In Configuration: Ensure that the contacts are being imported with permission to email. In MAKE, during the mapping of Facebook Leads to KEAP, make sure there is a specific step that sets the opt-in status for the contact. This could be a “Set Field” action in your scenario where you explicitly set the “Email Status” to “Unconfirmed” or “Single Opt-In” for the contacts imported, depending on KEAP’s requirements.

Permission Pass-Through: Check if there is an option in MAKE or within the Facebook Lead Ad form to pass through explicit permission which tells KEAP that the contact has agreed to receive marketing emails.
