Has anyone heard anything about Whisper or Groq not transcribing video files anymore? I emailed Make.com support, and they said it’s not a Make.com problem and that I should contact Open AI.
From the openai site:
File uploads are currently limited to 25 MB, and the following input file types are supported: mp3, mp4, mpeg, mpga, m4a, wav, and webm.
That said, are you talking about Whisper by OpenAI or other APIs that advertise themselves as Whisper?

I’ve been using Apify download urls that point to an mp4 file and retrieving them with an HTTP module, mapping the binary into the Groq and OpenAi/Whisper modules (official modules), which had been working fine for a few weeks, then the modules started saying the files were not valid types. Today I tried again and it worked. I’m going to move the transcription process to a batch uploader, probably Supadata. Can’t find anything reliable for large transcription volumes on Apify. Thanks though.
