Wordpress Module - Create a Post - using certain fields?

Dear Support and Make Community,

Currently I’m trying to work with the ‘Create a post - Wordpress’-module. However there are two things that I simply cannot get to work properly:

  1. Parent post ID. I’m working with pages and would love to be able to say ‘post ID is the parent for these new pages’. However when I insert a working page ID in ‘Parent object ID’, it doesn’t do this?
  2. Insert into certain fields. I use RankMath on my site and would love to be able to add the FAQ’s automatically for these posts. However I can’t get my head around how to get this to work.

Would love some help, thank you in advance!

Welcome to the Make community!

Have you contacted support for this? It appears to be a bug from how you are describing it.

For technical issues or bugs like this, directly contacting support can often lead to a faster resolution. They have access to your specific account details, scenario and scenario logs, server-side logs, and internal tools and resources, which allows them to investigate more thoroughly than what you have access to.

You can open a new ticket here, or if you are unable to login for some reason, you can create another new free account to access the ticketing system (which is only available to logged-in users). After submitting a new ticket, you will receive an automatic confirmation email with the subject “Ticket Created” in the subject. If you do not receive this, try sending the ticket again.

If you manage to get your issue resolved with support, we’d still love to hear about it! Sharing your solution on the forum can help others facing similar problems.

You’ll have to see if the plugin has an API. Please refer to the plugin documentation.

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.
