I am getting a time out when uploading an image to wordpress using the make plugin. The image arrives in Wordpress, sometimes multiple times per call, but the information from the upload does not come back to make, and results in a timeout.
I am hosted with Cloudways, they have whitelisted all the make IPs with no effect.
This automation was working flawlessly with no change about a week ago. It will still now work on a rare occasion, but most commonly times out.
Welcome to the Make community!
Have you tried contacting Make Support? It might be a server-side issue between your host and Make.
I am having the same time out error. I have two wordpress modules. One to post blog and it works just fine. Error only comes when I am uploading an image. Also, if I upload low resolution image, it does not time out. Only when I am trying to upload high resolution image.
Hi @samliew , how do I contact make support?
Thanks @Naman_Patel . Nice to know I’m not the only one. I tried changing hosts, this temporarily alleviated the problem, but it has returned this time with a different error - “Function ‘displayError’ finished with an error! Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘toString’)”
I figured it out, I will let you know response. Thank for your post
*As in I figured out how to contact support!

Hi @Sam_Ferguson Please let me know if you find out the solution from the support.
Hi @Naman_Patel I got a reply from support, they suggested it could have been IP address, cache or theme as well as a couple of other things. I whitelisted IPs, turned off cache and changed my theme and it worked no issue. I’m fairly certain it was the theme (I’m using Divi, with a child theme). Be interested to know if you are using same.

Thanks @Sam_Ferguson ! I am using default Hostinger theme. But I will aslo try cache and theme settings and see if that works.
