Wordpress related error, Function 'parseDates' finished with error!

Hello,

I am trying to upload media to wordpress, it was all fine until I started receiving this error: Handled error

type: IMLError
Function ‘parseDates’ finished with error! Function ‘stringToJson’ finished with error! Unexpected token ‘<’, “
”… is not valid JSON

It happens randomly in different part of the flow but always with WordPress media upload.
I have to keep re-running to get the upload to be done.

Can you add a screenshot of where you are parsing the date please.

That’s the thing, I am not using any dates anywhere in the entire flow! An somehow the issue disappears and comes back again randomly.

Can you also attach a screenshot of the Upload image module settings too please.

Welcome to the Make community!

From your screenshot, it looks like you were running a single module.

You cannot individually run a single module if you don’t know example values.

Try running the full scenario by clicking the “Run Once” button.

All my Wordpress scenarios started to give errors yesterday (April 3rd, 2025).
And one of the errors are these parse errors

It always works perfectly well but sometimes the error re-appears randomly.

Thank you Sam.

In the screenshot I shared, I was in “Resolve” mode where I can Run Once and the flow restarts from that point.
Sometime the issue gets solved after just one try and sometime it take 20-30 minutes of waiting to bypass the error.
I spoke with the support and they said that Wordpress is returning an HTML code message instead of JSON. Other people faced that too for sure.
If you are able to escalate this matter, it would be helpful to improve the products.

Thanks in advance.

Still getting that error randomly on different modules (create post, media ID, upload media). I got a reply from support team that WordPress is returning an HTML response instead of JSON.
I don’t know if there is a solution for now.
