I have set up automated payments to go from Stripe to Xero. I am having trouble with the currency conversion for international currencies however and can’t figure out how on earth to fix it!
At the moment it’s all working however the currency rate is wrong. For example a payment of 20.00 GBP come to us as 40.65 AUD, making the exchange rate 1 AUD = 0.492058181 GBP. However my output in xero is 1 AUD = 0.479679 GBP.
Please help!

which tool are you using to do the conversion? Can you show some screenshots of the setup?
I haven’t been using any specific tool, as the way I set it up was working for some transactions. Now that I’m trying to specify the currency conversion rate I can’t find any way to do so.

I dont think you can set conversion rates in Xero, they update them automatically hourly. Also the screenshot you are showing seems to be correct.
Unfortunately they are incorrect - The conversion rates are set by stripe.
This is very disappointing. I had the functionality in Zapier and think that make is better for every other thing but unfortunately may have to go back to Zapier if there is no solution.
Came here looking for a solution to this.
The problem is the Make integration is not exposing everything that the API makes available. which makes the Payment integration not very useful if you bill in more than one currency
