I have successfully set up a scenario where, when I choose a particular category in Outlook, Make sends it into a particular table in Airtable. However, I want to now set up a second filter in the same scenario that will also post the email into a different table in Airtable. The scenario works with the router and the two filters, as long as I only choose one category for the email, it does not allow me to have two. Any ideas how I can get the scenario to recognise the two categories as separate and to filter the email accordingly. Thank you!
Hi, Thank you for your response. The scenario below works. As you can see, I’ve set up filtering options for each category in 365 email, see screengrab further below.
If I add a single category to an email it follows the scenario and is added to Airtable. However, if I add multiple categories, e.g. Airtable and LM24H, neither the “Airtable” nor the “LM24H” filters catches the email to put it into different tables in Airtable.
Each category selected in 365 email requires the scenario to give different instructions to Airtable:
Airtable = Add to table #1
LM24H = Add to table #2 and enter “LM24H” in “Type” field
LMC = Add to table #2 and enter “LMC” in “Type” field
Sebring = Add to table #2 and enter “Sebring” in “Type” field
Other = Add to table #2 and enter “Other” in “Type” field
Thank you for your instructions, time and attention. However, that is what I’ve done that actually works. Could you add the “blue category” to the email with the “green category” so that you have two categories in one email and then run the scenario again? This is where I come up against it, it won’t pick up the “blue category” if it has more than the “blue category”. However, while writing this, it dawned on me that I have the Text Operator set to “Equals”. When I change it to “contains” the scenario picks up the email in both operations. Thank you for helping me trigger the solution.
I just wanted to quickly jump in to say congrats one with the assistance of @Msquare_Automation
