Hi Make Support Team,
I’m currently using make.com for automating my social media activities, specifically for Instagram. While I’m able to post and comment on the authenticated Instagram Business account linked to my scenario, I’ve noticed that the Create Post and Comment modules do not allow me to comment on other Instagram accounts or posts like the Facebook module does.
I am able to retrive the MediaID from the Instagram List Public User Media module and pass this value MediaID to Instagram create post and i got this message:
Unsupported post request. Object with ID ‘18041495492033909’ does not exist, cannot be loaded due to missing permissions, or does not support this operation. Please read the Graph API documentation at Graph API - Documentation - Meta for Developers (100, GraphMethodException)
For my use case, I need to be able to comment on posts from different Instagram users and accounts. This feature is available for Facebook, but it seems it’s not supported for Instagram yet.
Could you let me know if this is a limitation of Instagram’s API, or if there’s a plan to implement this feature in the future?
