Can you pass attachments through Make's automation flow?

Hi there

I am developing a workflow to automate LinkedIn posts. The workflow involves generating a LinkedIn post using ChatGPT and an image using Dall-e off an article that Perplexity has summarised. The workflow uses AirTable to store all outputs.

Sometimes the image generated doesn’t always hit the mark. I’ve been asked to create the ability for users manually add images as attachments in a column in AirTable to use as an image in LinkedIn posts. However, I am not sure if Make can pass through an attachment in automation workflows in the same way that it can with Dall-e image URLs.

Could you please advise on the best way to handle this use case? Any guidance will be appreciated.

You could upload these attachments to a file hosting storage like Google Drive or your web server, and then get the URL for those.
