Hello, I’m new to make and the world of automations so I apologize in advance for any ignorance in the matter but welcome any help and feedback on improving my automations.
Goal is to wait 48 hours after an ActiveCampaign email sends, then send info via API about the unsubscribes, clicks, open rates, etc. After which those numbers populate an airtable that can then be sent out as info automatically.
My current attempt at the sequence is a webhook trigger that is connected to ActiveCampaign, then the next node is AirTable. When at the mapping step for AirTable I do not see the fields like Unsubscribes or Clicks coming in from ActiveCampaign.
Not sure what I’m doing wrong as I see that this info is available on their API docs.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
In order to map all the fields from the webhook to Airtable, please initiate the webhook trigger first, and afterward, you can retrieve all the relevant fields from the webhook.
Please execute the webhook once, and if you receive a response from the webhook, proceed to establish a connection with Airtable. Retrieve all fields from the webhook only after triggering the scenario.
The answer shared is the correct solution to get the fields for mapping. If you dont understand does not mean that it is a shallow explanation. Also, Not sure where did we ask you fee here - if asked in “Questions and Answers” group - we are happy to rectify it.
As instructed, process a webhook data in the scenario and then proceed for mapping - You will be able to see all the variables for mapping.
There seems to be a slight misunderstanding here, so let me step in.
It is not completely clear what the issue you’re encountering is. If it revolves around not seeing items returned by the webhook in the Airtable module, then the advice from @Msquare_Automation is 100% valid.
To reiterate their suggestion, I recommend unlinking the webhook module from the rest of the scenario flow, running it manually (right mouse button > run this module only), and creating a test submission. Once the module processes it, connect it back to the rest of the scenario flow and check the mapping dialogue.
If you’re dealing with a different problem, please provide a more detailed description and include additional screenshots to illustrate the behavior.
The more information and context we get, the better equipped we are to assist as a community. Occasionally, misunderstandings can occur, and advice may seem unrelated. It’s important to remember that we’re all human, and making mistakes is part of the process.
If the suggested steps do not do the trick for you, I am sure @Msquare_Automation or someone else from the community will be happy to help you out once we have a clearer understanding of the problem you’re encountering.
