Facebook Lead Ads Form // Get Campaign Name, AdSet Name and More

Hi there,
I’ve noticed that my latest Facebook Lead Ads forms are not receiving data for:

  • Adset Name
  • Campaign Name
    among others…

For Instance:

I have all administrator privileges on my Fanpages and campaigns but the new Leads forms already come without this information. I have noticed that in the previous ones this still works.

Can someone help me understand how to recover this information in my campaigns?

Many Thanx

This looks like a bug, since by unchecking all the fields, you should have received all of them.

For quicker assistance with technical issues like these, you may want to contact support directly. They respond very quickly and update you frequently on the status of their investigation.

Hope you can share the resolution with us if you manage to solve this problem!

Hello @emilianoenmake

I noticed that you got this piece of advice from the support team so just sharing it here for the benefit of the community.

If data is available at source, it will be fetched. Please try using “Get Lead Details” module after “New Lead”.

If that doesn’t work, please try creating a new Facebook connection :arrow_right: Connecting Your Facebook Account to Make

Hi Michaela, thanks for your solution. I’ve tested adding the new module “Get Lead Details,” and now I’m able to retrieve the data. However, what’s strange is that in other scenarios, I receive all the lead fields using just the “New Lead” module.

Many thanx again.

To understand why Facebook sends all the Lead details, or sometimes just a “simplified”/shortened version without additional details, we’ll need to take a closer look at the Facebook API documentation. Or perhaps it’s a bug on Facebook’s end :person_shrugging:
