Fail to access microsoft excel online - reauthorization does not help

I have a scenario that was working correctly, with two modules that operate on microsoft online excel.

They suddnely stopped working and I get the following error
[401] You do not have permissions to open this file in the browser.

The module is correctly authorized, as I can browse microsoft online’s files list, but it fails to access the spreadsheet.

Any one with any ideas how to fix ?

thanks!

I too am having this issue. Did you ever find a resolution?

Hello @rialto and @Jeff_Baker

Thanks for raising this here in the community.

Could you please try the following steps?

  1. Reauthorize your Excel connection in the ‘Connections’ tab and do another test run to see if the issue persists.

  1. If that doesn’t help, please remove the current connection and add a new one by following this guide.

  2. Make sure you have all the necessary permissions to work with this particular spreadsheet.

I have the same issue, I cannot access the spreadsheet now, today morning stated to fail without any modification. Error: “[401] You do not have permissions to open this file in the browser.” @Michaela do you have another solution? erasing the previous connection an recreate doesn’t work for me.

Hello @Daniel_Guerrero

If recreating your connection doesn’t resolve the issue, I would recommend reaching out directly to the Microsoft support team.

I noticed that you’re already in touch with our support team, and that they’ve provided you with a specific error to share with the Microsoft team. Since it appears to be coming from their end, they should be able to help you with this.
