I totally agree that the ‘What’s New’ section is a great place to learn about all the news & updates on the platform. It makes total sense that you miss it on Make and I can confirm that we are planning to bring it back.
In the meantime, just like @JugaadiTech suggested, you can find the newly released apps on Make underneath the monthly-app-digest tag.
I am keeping an eye on this and I’ll make sure to let the community know as soon as the ‘What’s New’ timeline is heading to Make.

I just wanted to let you know that there’s now a brand new Idea exchange platform. You can log this (and any other) feedback in there so that you can easily monitor its status.
