Google forms to Email

Hello, I have a quick question. I am building a scenario where a user submits a Google Form, and then I send that Google Form information via email to the appropriate department. For example, if a user inquires about sales, I want to send that Google Form information to the Sales department, but if a user inquires about customer support, I want to send that Google Form information to the Customer Support department. I am using a filter, but it is not working.

How can I achieve this?

It might be better to build in a select question in the form where the user chooses what the issue is about and filter your queries based on that.

The issue with your current setup is that the user might not exactly type in Sales Team. Other option is having AI categorize the query and filter from there.

Hope this helps!

@LinkYourTech I know user will know type Sales team. I am making this automation for practice.

Hi @Samar_Abbas

Please note that the “contains” filter is case-sensitive. Ensure that the result is “Sales Team” rather than “sales team.” Additionally, there is an option in the filter for case-insensitive text matching.
