Hello, I’m new to Make, and I have a few questions about whether the following tasks are possible. If they are, I’d appreciate it if you could guide me step by step, as I’m still unfamiliar with using the platform.
I want to download a satisfaction survey file for lectures daily and upload it to Google Drive.
The file is in Excel format, and I’d like to move it to Google Sheets. After the initial upload, I want only the data from the current day to be appended to the Google Sheet. On average, there are about 300 rows per day.
Among the contents written in the Google Sheet, one specific column contains subjective feedback about the lectures. I want to collect only this feedback and summarize it using ChatGPT.
I’d like to add the summarized feedback to a new sheet within the same Google Sheet file.
However, you seem to know all the steps (most of the steps?) needed to get the result you want. As long as the process doesn’t deviate much from what you describe, it should be pretty straightforward.
You biggest stumbling blocks will likely be:
Reading the data directly from Excel (it might be easier to use Google Sheets)
Keeping the number of operations as low as possible
Getting the ChatGPT prompts to do what you want
That said, the ChatGPT prompt can be perfected in ChatGPT externally. The Excell sheet can be converted pretty easily to Google Sheets (r work with Google Sheets Natively), there are ways to reduce the number of operations a scenario uses.
Best bet? Start working on it and ask questions qhen you get stuck.
Or, if you don’t want to do it yourself, you can hire someone to do it for you.
