How to send DM on Slack

I’m trying to use MAKE to send direct messages to myself on Slack. However, I can only see options to send messages to public channels or via Slackbot. Ideally, I’d like to send direct messages to my personal Slack (not through Slackbot) or to a private channel.

I’ve checked Slack permissions and attempted adding the bot to private channels, but no luck so far. Any advice on how to get private channels or direct messages (to myself) working in MAKE?

Welcome to the community.

Try to add connection one more time- I checked your setup with bot connection and without any problems can send DMs as Integromat Bot to myself.

Please be aware that most of Slack permissions can’t be changed so take care and read all permissions carefully.
