I am struggling with formatting issues when sending Monday.com updates to a Word document via the “Microsoft Word Templates” module.
My Goal: To have the Word document reflect the original formatting of the Monday update (Bold, Bullets, and Newlines).
What is the problem & what have you tried?
The Problem:
Plain Text: Using text_body strips all newlines, making the summary unreadable.
HTML: Mapping the body field results in the raw HTML tags (like …) appearing literally in the final Word doc.
I’ve tried using the {{@tag}} syntax in Word to force HTML rendering, but it often results in empty fields or errors.
Has anyone successfully managed to “inject” HTML from Monday into a Word template while maintaining the design? Is there a specific “Value Type” or a transformation formula I should be using before the Word module?
