Is transferred data scure?

Hi, I’m new to Make so there are some clarifications I would like to have.

When Make transfers data to an external source (e.g. google or clickup), is the data encrypted? how is it safe? I assume the data is being transfer just over the internet.
Similarly, when I call a Make webhook from an external app, how’s the data secure?

Some clarifications would be appreciated.

And if you enable the ‘data is confidential’ setting, the data in your scenario is programmatically locked away. If enabled, there are very limited options to solve errors that occur in a scenario execution.
