Make Performance Issues — Browser Crashes & Severely Delayed Automation Execution

Hi Make Community,

I wanted to raise some performance issues I’ve been experiencing lately, which I believe may be related to the recent platform updates. I’m hoping others can share if they’ve encountered the same, and that the Make team can look into this.

Issue 1 — Browser crashes when working on scenarios
My browser has been crashing repeatedly while building and editing scenarios in Make. This is significantly impacting productivity and making it difficult to work on automations without losing progress.

Issue 2 — Severely delayed automation execution
Some of my automations are executing hours later than their scheduled trigger time. This was experienced for the first time yesterday. If users did not raise it I would not have known about this issue. For example, one automation was triggered at approximately 4:00 AM but did not execute until around 6:00 PM — a delay of roughly 14 hours. This is causing major disruptions to time-sensitive workflows.

Has anyone else experienced these issues? Any workarounds or insights would be greatly appreciated. I’d also love to hear from the Make team on whether there are any known issues or fixes in progress.

What browser are you using? Make advised to use Chromium based browsers. So far, I myself have not identified any issues nor regressions. If you have, please make a report it to the Customer Care team.

As for the delayed automation, this could have any amount of causes. If you are on a free plan, you do not have priority execution for example. 14 hours seems excessive for that through.

There have been no reported issues with our platform in the past days, as you can see on our Status page. Are you still experiencing the issues? If yes, please feel free to open a ticket with our Support team and one of our agents will look into this further.

For the browser I was using Chrome however the continuous crashing impacted my other work on Chrome browser so I am now using it from Safari. Its an intermittent issue but does affect my work as it leads to losing unsaved changes.

Also, we are not on free plan. We are on core plan subscribed for 40k operations per month. The issue for delayed execution was experienced on Sunday for the first time. How can i check what caused this ?
