Microsoft 365 module keeps auto connecting to the wrong credentials

Guys, I am having a bit of a problem here within my make scenario. I have been building this small agent for my friend, and part of it is that the agent sends emails containing invoices.

Now when I was building the agent, I just used my credentials in the outlook module within make to send the emails (for testing purposes), but now the agent is complete, I need to change the connection from my email to my friends connection. However, I cannot change the connection?! I click on “Add” to add a new connection, and I can add a new connection, however the connection is still set to my account, as it has (Lee Webster) after every new connection I make, it also does not ask for any credentials when I Add a new connection.

I tried creating a new module and adding a new connection there, but it just automatically connected to my email account when I add the connection.

I have also tried deleting the connection via the purple sidebar, and then deleting the module, and then putting in a new 365 module, but every time I click “add new connection” it pops up the login page but quickly signs in under MY credentials. It doesnt let me login with other credentials.

I would have thought that this is a common task to have to do (swapping email accounts from developer’s email to client’s email)?!

Thanks folks

Lee

Hiya @Lee_Webster,

Have you tried going to Make’s Connections page and Reauthorize as your desired user?

The trick is making sure you’re logged out of the end system as yourself, and logged in as the desired entity.

For example, in above, one of my Slack automation connections is authorized as me, than automation. So I’d log out of Slack being Michael, log in with automation, then reauthorize the connection.

Yes when I reauthorise, it just automatically reauthorises itself without me putting in any details.
SURELY I don’t have to log out of my make account and create a client account?!?! Where would the scenario go? My account or the client account.
This is a HUGE issue, if this is the case.
There MUST be another way to stop it automatically logging into my 365 account.

This may help depending upon your browser, please see my suggestion in the link and perhaps open a browser while not logged in if on edge One Drive issue

@Lee_Webster; sometimes I’ll start fresh sessions in Chrome’s incognito mode to ensure that my authorizations are what I expect.
