Monday.com Add File to File Column - No File!

I have setup a scenario to create a new Google Drive folder when an item’s Name changes. It’s working well. I then set up a 3rd module to Add File to File Column.

The File column does indeed populate in Monday. BUT - the file is blank. When I click on the file icon this is what shows up in Monday rather than letting me click through to the new folder I created. What am I doing wrong?

To solve your issue, please download the file using Google Drive’s Download module and map its output (Data) in the Monday module’s Data field shown in the File section.

This doesn’t make sense to me. The Google Drive Download module isn’t showing mapping capabilities. I also assume it’s going to download to my desktop? How does that help me? Can you explain why my current setup is rendering a file image in Monday but the weblink is not accessible?

Update. have now tried this scenario instead. I get an error message at the last piece of it - trying to add the file to monday.
