MS 365 Calendar EventID is identical for different entries

Hi Makers,

I create two calendar entries in my Outlook 365 calendar and store the “Event ID” that is returned from the “Create an Event” Module. I saw that for both entries I get the same Event ID and therefore I can’t access the individual entries at a later point in time. It seems to be the calendar ID instead of an event ID but I don’t understand how I can identify one individual entry. What do I miss here?

Hey soimmelspacher

I just tried it out and though they do look very much alike, there is a single character that is different.

So what I did was just create two calendar events and paste the event IDs side-by-side. Here is the outcome:

The whole ID looks the same but one character.

I added the blueprint, which should help you out. Also included a screenshot, where i aggregated the Subjects and Event IDs grouped by Event IDs.
And as we can see they are each in their own group. :+1:

Hi Riko,
thanks a lot for your help. I didn’t see it! Now it works!
I found out that there was another problem. I write the dates to a notion database and searching for these dates works only correctly if I format the date in a different way! After I fixed that, all worked!

Thanks again!
