Hi,
we startet with make (core license) and run into the limit of 10 DataStorage. So we updated to Pro license but have the same limit. I thought with 120.000 operations, we can have 120 DataStores (10 per 10.000).
I am not right? What is the problem?
What could be an alternative to DataStores? Google Sheets? Is there something more database like?
It seems that Make calculates based on # of operations on a monthly basis:
Make calculates data storage based on the number of your operations per month. For every 10,000 operations per month, you get 10 MB of data storage.
Customers with operations flexibility on annual plans such as Pro, Team, or Enterprise receive their usage allowance based on monthly operations. For example, an annual plan with 1,200,000 operations for the year has a data storage maximum of 100 MB because there are 100,000 operations per month.
Google Sheets is a great alternative if you wish to keep it simple. Other alternatives are Airtable (more functionality) or Xano (more complex).
Henk, thank you for the fast response.
It’s a sad that not simply a quantity of storage can be provided and the calculation is not as simple as it could be.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, Airtable is not EUGDPR compatible. I’m not sure about Xano yet. I’ll have to take a closer look.

I agree with you, this is information that should be available on the pricing page (@Michaela, can you relay this internally?)
I am not sure if Google Sheets is in accordance with GDPR, to be honest. Xano is, when you open an instance within the EEA. But on the free tier, you are bound to a shared instance located in the US and therefore not fully in accordance with GDPR. (GDPR does not prohibit you to store or process data outside the EEA, as long as you have a clear processor agreement and terms of service)
