Problems to create database item in notion

What are you trying to achieve?

I am trying to sync shopify and notion so that notion creates a database item every time there is a new order in shopify. My notion connection doesn’t throw any errors and it is fully clear, but when I run the scenario the new order doesn’t show in the notion database.

In some tutorials I find that I have to also share the database with the integration throughout a share button in the up right hand side of the screen. But when I click on it, it only allows me to share the database with people through email addresses.

Steps taken so far

All connections are in place. the database is created.

Hello @ignacio_Usin,
First of all, have you activated your scenario after setting up all the things? I’ve forgotten it multiple times.
See the scenario run logs and see what data comes to shopify and what is passed to the notion.

Hi @ignacio_Usin

Could you please share snapshot of the mappings in notion module and confirm if the scenario is on or not??

Hi @Msquare_Automation,
Thanks for the support!
this is a snapshot of the module. I entered the database ID manually as it doesn’t recognize the list

Please check these points:

  1. Is your connection is working for notion?? You can check it by using any “list” module.
  2. Is shopify is generating any output, if its not generating, then notion module won’t run.
  3. Shopify is “acid” trigger. hence, once you run that, there should be some new data coming in, if there is no new data, then it won’t give any output.
  4. Are you recieving any error??? Please share the error message if yes, or share the snapshot after running the scenario.
  5. The variable you have mapped from shopify, does that have any value?? You can check that in shopify’s output.

Thanks for the help, @Msquare_Automation
The information from Shopify actually comes and it is well connected.

I actually see it on my notion module, but not on my notion database.

There is no error nor on make nor on notion
