Slack Reaction conditional automation

I have a scenario where I have a slack webhook watch for a new message in a specific channel to begin its automation. When the hook fires, it waits 15 minutes to see if a user reacts or takes action on the message. IF nothing happens, the automation continues. If someone takes action, the scenario adds a reaction to the message and ends.

I tried watching a single user for the reaction, but the automation didn’t work when they did not react. This automation works if I don’t add a condition - is there any way I can do this?

The basic flow is, assignment is posted. If no one accepts the assignment, the automation fires, if they do accept the assignment (I don’t care how, reaction, reply) the automation reacts to the original post and ends.

Is tehre any way I can

With webhook you are getting scenario triggered then wait for 15 min as you said. And then check that message again with message id you must have recieved in webhook.

If there is no reply or reaxtion then take actions of whatever you want.

Are you missing on filters to put or anything else you are looking for? Please elaborate with screenshot.

(Note: Exporting your scenario will not include private information or keys to your connections)

Uploading it here will look like this:

blueprint.json (12.3 KB)

3. And most importantly, Input/Output bundles

Please provide the input and output bundles of the modules by running the scenario (or get from the scenario History tab), then click the white speech bubble on the top-right of each module and select “Download input/output bundles”.

A.

Save each bundle contents in your text editor as a bundle.txt file, and upload it here into this discussion thread.

Uploading them here will look like this:

module-1-input-bundle.txt (12.3 KB)
module-1-output-bundle.txt (12.3 KB)

B.

If you are unable to upload files on this forum, alternatively you can paste the formatted bundles in this manner:

  • Either add three backticks ``` before and after the code, like this:

    ```
    input/output bundle content goes here
    ```

  • Or use the format code button in the editor:

Providing the input/output bundles will allow others to replicate what is going on in the scenario even if they do not use the external service.

Following these steps will allow others to assist you here. Thanks!
