What is your goal?
I want to create an automated workflow that monitors my Outlook Inbox for specific job application emails from JobsDB, extracts the Job Title and Company Name from the email body, and then automatically saves that data into a Notion database.
What is the problem & what have you tried?
The “Watch Emails” module consistently returns “No data” (0 bundles) and shows “No items available” even when I manually select a starting point. Despite a successful connection to my Microsoft 365 account, the trigger fails to detect or fetch any emails from the Inbox, even though multiple emails matching the criteria are present and marked as unread.
Thanks in advance for your time and help!
Hey there,
do you have any filters applied and is the watch module set to the correct folder? Can you show a screenshot of how its currently configured?
Hello Stoyan! My workflow looks like the screenshot, and since all the emails follow a pattern, so I try to set the module like this and search for emails from jobsdb. But it seems to not work. Thanks for your reply!
Can you test without the filter and see if it returns anything? So we can see if the issue is the filter or elsewhere.
It still returns nothing when I clean the filter. Thanks for your helpppp!
And can you confirm that there are emails it should have found? I’m this case, double check the folder and see if it will return something when no folder is specified.
Finally, I found out the problem: my Microsoft Edge account is another email, so when I try to link the outlook account, the system links to the default account instead of the new outlook account. The solution is to open a new edge page and sign in with the outlook email account that u need to link, then the system can link correctly. Hope this can help, and thanks a lot for your patient response!
