I have a checkbox in google sheet that automatically gets checked when a date from another cell is reached. I have a scenario that starts with watch changes that then filters for the row of the checkbox and when it is set to true but it doesn’t seem to get triggered as a change when the checkbox is triggered, it only gets the changes that i manually input. Is there a way for it to trigger once the checkbox is checked?

No, the Watch Changes module cannot get triggered by another automation.
This is a known fact, and is a limitation on Google’s end.
