Hello,
I’m a fairly new user to Make.
I’d like to fill a Notion database with Freshdesk tickets that are created.
I’ve a hard time understanding how the Watch Tickets module works, the documentation is not clear enough:
Parameters are the following:
- Watch tickets: By create time
- Filter: New and my open
The module triggers when anybody creates tickets but no data is collected.
None of these configurations work:
- The Requester and Company ID fields are left empty
- The Requester and Company ID fields are filled
By the way, using the Freshdesk Search… modules work fine, this means there is no issue with the connection configuration.
Am I missing something?
Should I use the Watch Events (webhook) instead?
Thanks,
Hi @MarkAgile
If you are using “Acid” Trigger module, then you can right click on that and select “choose where to start” to get the values and can select any one option of them.
Otherwise, you should use “instant” Trigger module “Watch Events” if you want to trigger the scenario instantly a ticket created.
If you require additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

While waiting for an answer, I took a look at the available templates using the watch module.
I gave a few tries and it’s now working.
The only mandatory field is Watch Tickets (to select if you want to detect created or updated tickets).
If you leave everything else empty, Make will catch everything.
