When I try create a connection in make.com to my gmail account, and enter the client key and client secret, it says “Creating a connection” and “Waiting for authorization” but never finishes. All steps leading up to this have been completed and are correct. Why does this step not finish?
Welcome to the Make Community!
Please ensure that your browser is not blocking popups, as the Google authorisation happens in a new window.
Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

Thank you, I tried that (and the pop-ups were being blocked, so thank you for that suggestion), but now I get this error message:
{"message":"Not found"}
Experiencing the same issue but my message reads: Resource not found. did you find a solution to your error?
@Natalie_Schneider @David_Patterson You can try closing all your current Google tabs. Reconnect it.
Make sure you’ll see the tab that asks you to log in to your account. If you don’t see the Google login tab, you can try to disable/enable pop-ups and redirects by following this specific thread: Manage Pop-ups & Redirects (Google)
I hope this helps you both!
Glad I could help with "Create a connection to gmail - waiting for authorization"! ![]()
