Whatsapp event trigger only works for test number but not for business number

Dear community,

I’m trying so hard to get whatsapp business cloud working on make. It’s freaking hard to get my own business number coupled on the watch events trigger..

  1. The business portfolio is verified.
  2. The account status is green.
  3. I made an system owner to create an permanent token for the webhook coupled on the app made in developers.facebook.com
  4. The webhook seems to set up correctly. No error is given when creating it by using the correct whatsapp ID and permanent acces token.
  5. I checked that the subscription is correct in developers.facebook.com (messages only).
  6. No Business number is coupled to the app on my phone. This used to be the case, but I removed the account and the app.

Please I hope somebody could make my day by helping me with this issue.

Make sure you have sufficient credit on Meta to make the number functional.

Have you considered using a regular WhatsApp connection instead of Meta’s connection? Something like 2Chat?

i face the same problem too, i’m able to send message using the send message module with a production number and permanent token. Yet when i take those and put into the whatsapp watch event module, and even text the number through the same conversation window that successfully received a message, the watch event module does’nt get triggered.

I was able to succeed with the test number.
