Looking for Freelance Help with WhatsApp ‘Watch Events’ Trigger in Make (Budget: $20 USD)

Hi everyone,
I need someone who can quickly troubleshoot a WhatsApp Business Cloud integration issue in Make. Specifically, I can send messages via the ‘Send a Message’ module, but the ‘Watch Events’ trigger is not receiving inbound messages.

What I’ve done so far:
• Created a Meta Developer app, added a new phone number, generated a permanent token.
• The Send module works with the new phone number.
• The Watch Events trigger is verified from Meta’s side, but never fires when I send a message.
• I’ve tried the recommended steps (verifying webhook, checking tokens and IDs, etc.), but still no inbound events.

I suspect it’s just a small configuration fix, and I’ll pay $20 USD for someone to hop on a quick call or exchange messages to walk me through resolving it. My best guess is that there’s a missing step in the WABA subscription process or a small mismatch in the webhook settings.

If you have direct experience with Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API and Make’s ‘Watch Events’ module, please reach out.

Thanks in advance!

Hey @Antoine_Ryan, I’ve seen the message now. It sounds like a frustrating one indeed. Let’s find time to jump on a call and see if we can’t get it fixed :man_technologist:

Hope the issue has been sorted, if not. connect with me here. I too had a same issue, while building an WhatsApp AI agent for a Real estate business. Somehow, the issue has been resolved.

Alternatively, if you want to use the free versions of WhatsApp that don’t require a WhatsApp Business API account, you could try something like 2Chat.

Troubleshooting will also be easier as you will see messages arriving on your phone as well.
