WhatsApp Message and 360 dialog

:bullseye: What is your goal?

I want to send a reply message to and via whatsapp number.

 What is the problem?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently building a WhatsApp automation workflow and I’ve run into a roadblock regarding the 360dialog integration.

The Situation:
I have successfully set up my virtual WhatsApp number through Meta and 360dialog. The incoming flow is working perfectly—I am able to receive messages from users via the Webhook without any issues.

The Problem:
When I try to build the response leg of the automation, I cannot find the relevant 360dialog module to send a message back. I’ve searched for “360dialog”, “360messenger”, and “WhatsApp” in the module library, but the specific app required to trigger the “Send a text message” action for a 360dialog account does not appear in the results.

I’ve tried searching both in the main scenario editor and under the “Flow Control” section, but without success.

Details:

Goal: Send WhatsApp messages via 360dialog after an AI processing step.

Current Status: Webhook is active and receiving data from the virtual number.

Region: EU (if relevant).

Issue: The outgoing module doesn’t appear in the search results even when typing the full name.

Has the module been renamed recently, or is there a specific way to enable/install the 360dialog integration in my workspace?

Thanks in advance for your help!

:test_tube: What have you tried so far?

Tried to use the module WhatsApp business cloud but I could not connect it because it says that I don’t have a WhatsApp Business number. Yet I have number connect to dialog360. (to be more precise the number I have on dialog360 is a “virtual number” I was automtically assigned by Meta)

Hey Andrea,

you mean this one? It does come up when you type in 360:

If you want to stay with 360dialog, I’d first check whether the Make app is still available in your workspace or whether you need to send via HTTP/API instead of a native module.

If your goal is simply to receive a WhatsApp message, process it with AI, and send a reply back, you could also use a connector built for that flow directly in Make: https://www.make.com/en/integrations/two-chat, including support for creating a new WhatsApp account using a virtual number.

Hi Stoyan,

thanks for replying. I indeed tried to use the module 360Messanger for WhatApp but I see two things that make me doubt whetehr this is the right 1) API key I got from 360dialog does not work on this module. 2) Below Make is suggesting to check for the API key in app.360messagner.com which I think is not the same WA API provide I’m using which is instead https://360dialog.com/. Any clue?

Hi Carlosz,

Thanks for replying to my post.

I think 2Chat module you proposed is an alternative to the WhatApp API I’m currently using which is 360Dialog. I wanted to remain with the same API provider if I can. So if no 360dialog module is available in Make, should I use the HTTP request?

Yes, you can use the HTTP request, but the problem here, as usual, is the lack of support with your current provider.

Since WhatsApp really is a commodity, there’s little reason to stay with a provider that doesn’t respond or care to fix technical issues. You should consider moving away to another BSP or provider, and 2Chat has great support.
