You are encountering this problem because maybe you are creating the event first and then running the watch module.
By default, the watch module starts executing from now on {That is the moment after the run button was pressed}
before running it. Do a right-click on a module and then you will see something like this

Here click on choose where to start and choose the duration you want to watch for.
This will solve your problem
