Connect Make and Wordpress. Status code 404

Hi everyone!

I made a site with CMS WordPress (it’s clean new site).
Then I added plugin Make Connector, opened it and copied API key and paste in WordPress Connection with https://site.ru/wp-json/ in brackets. But there’s Status code 404.

I checked info a bit and found that it can be connected as a problem with new WordPress update to 6.7.2 version.

Then I delete that site, make new one with the same CMS WordPress and at first I added plugin WP Downgrade | Specific Core Version by author Reisetiger (100k+ downloads) and I tried to set 6.7 version (but there’s still status code 404). I even tried 6.6.1 version and still the same result - 404.

How to solve that problem?

In addition: Everything worked good in nov-dec 2024 - did the same and everything worked.

Also found the solution as a https://site.ru/?rest_route=/ and connection started to work but there’s no image working with that. I mean There should be scenario with text+image. Text started to be posted but without an image

I don’t think this is a Make issue. Try asking around in WordPress spaces, as this seems like an uncommon issue.

I think it concerned with https://site.ru/?rest_route=/ except of https://site.ru/wp-json/. Cuz my previous projects worked with that (1-2 months ago), but now if I paste …/wp-json/ and api key from make connector (plugin) there’s no connection (status code 404).
