Get WhatsApp messages without WhatsApp Business Cloud

Hi everyone

I wanted to showcase a flow I use to get notifications on WhatsApp whenever I have a new customer on Stripe without needing a WhatsApp Business Cloud Account, it takes 5 minutes to set up!

The same principle can be used to get a WhatsApp message when you get a new Facebook lead, when someone fills out a form…

This can be useful for:

• Notifying sales teams on WhatsApp
• Getting up-to-date information directly on WhatsApp

Here’s how I did this to get a notification for new customers and also notifying my head of sales about it:

1. Listen for the Stripe event.
In my case, it’s a customer subscription creation

2. Connect with WhatsAble
You will need the API key from their dashboard and verify you own the WhatsApp number.
Then Type the message you want to get on WhatsApp.

3. You get your WhatsApp message notification

I personally use it also to get a WhatsApp when I’m mentioned on Slack, to get a WhatsApp when someone fills out a Tally Form…
