I have used Peerboard in the past, but it is slow and doesnt not display things as nicely as this one I feel. Any idea what platform this is built with?

It’s awesome to hear that you’re liking the forum! The software we used is called Discourse. It’s really powerful, robust, and offers tons of functionality.
Just one thing to note: Our community is heavily customized to be in sync with the overall Make look. You can check out Discourse’s official community to get a better idea of what the (almost) vanilla version of the software looks like.
