I want to automate some workflows in excel sheets. I have a free account signed in in microsoft/ azure but can’t connect it with make. What could possibly be the reason?

Looks like you are using a personal Microsoft account to access an organisation’s data.
Get the IT administrator to add you as a guest in the organisation first, and grant you access to use the Make integration.
