Problem with automatic scenario execution

:bullseye: What is your goal?

Has anyone else had a problem like this? I have a script that has been running every 5 minutes for several months. The scenario runs without any problems. However, yesterday at 8:37 a.m. it stopped running until today at 11:15 a.m., when it started running again every 5 minutes. I’ve checked the execution history, and it shows that everything went OK. However, the system stopped working yesterday and didn’t start again until today, and I don’t know what could have happened. Was it an error on the Make.com platform?

 What is the problem & what have you tried?

Loss of process execution

It could be on Make’s side or from one of your services. If you have checked your execution log and everything seemed like it was working ok my guess is that somewhere in your scenario, perhaps the script module you are using there was an error. However that error may have been silent and sent Make a successful status and thus did not go in as an error. It would be a good idea to look at the output from that script during that time period and see if there is anything unusual.

Another possibility though it seems unlikely is that you have used up all of your operations for the month and now they have just happened to reset which explains why your scenario is working again.

Hi David, the 8:37 a.m. → 11:15 a.m. gap is what stands out to me. If the scenario was active and running normally before and after that period, but there are simply no scheduled executions recorded during those ~27 hours, I’d investigate the scheduler rather than the scenario logic itself.

Check the Scenario History around 8:37 a.m. and look at the Change Log as well as the run entries. Make records scheduling/activation changes there, so you can determine whether something actually changed or whether the executions just stopped being triggered.

If there’s no change and no executions at all during that window, that’s when I’d consider a Make-side scheduling issue and raise it with Support. I wouldn’t modify the scenario until you establish what happened during that gap.
