Unable to send a reply in outlook in the same thread

Hi,

I have the following automation using outlook modules:

  1. Send email to client
  2. If no response from client in 2 days send follow up email to client in the same thread

The problem I have is that the follow up message I send is not in the same thread. I am using the message id from the search emails outlook module in the create a reply outlook module.

I also tried using the generic email module and the reply does not go to same thread. Any ideas on how to solve?

Hi @jht99,

You can try using the ‘Forward a Message’ module and add the text in the comments instead of replying. This will keep it within the same thread.

I just tried that but then it shows up as forward when I send it to the client which I don’t want. How do I get around this?

I followed the additional thread but isn’t working for outlook. Do you know if there’s an outlook solution?
