New Make.com Youtube module what do I fill in in the fields?

Hi,

has anyone been able to get the new youtube module to work?

I though I did, and it posted something to youtube but in wasn’t able to post it
I tried to post a Youtube short with this module with getting the data out of airtable

and for some reason, it’s not clear what data I need to put in here
I thought
file name - file name
data video url from airtable

any thoughts of tutorials? I did search for it, but couldn’t find it.

thanks!

What is the source of your data?

You need to use a get a file http call. Then you can map the data to there easily.

my source is Airtable. Some modules work great without http mapping, so I though this would be the samen for the Youtube module, I’ll try the http methode

Ok great so take the url of the video from airtable and place it in a get a file http call and then use that to map to the youtube module.

Hey @synnabox

Everytime toto add a file anywhere, first need to download using supported application.

yeah it won’t accept the file size it’s 53,7 MB so I tough it wasn’t that big but I can’t find the file maximum

blueprint.json (34.5 KB)

I’ve put in the methods I though would work, but both don’t do anything

What plan MAKE are you on different plans have different file sizes limits for the http call I’m assuming you surpassed your max size. Not sure of any work arounds. @samliew Any ideas?

There is no workaround for the HTTP module at the moment since it’s an internal limit. The YouTube module is kinda useless like this. You could try using Google Drive “Download a file” instead.

I’m sure others would agree that increasing the HTTP module max file size limit is a nice feature to have.

You can submit this suggestion to the Idea exchange, under Platform ideas and improvements

Don’t forget to search for it first, just in case someone already suggested it, so that you don’t end up creating a duplicate.

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

well, I understand they want to make money and if I need more recourses, I’ll upgrade.

But still, why make a module that won’t work like the Facebook or Instagram module?
For now, it would be a nice extra to also have YouTube automated and I would love to have TikTok in the mix, then I would have a great social media scheduler what works for me, instead of against me.

thanks for the replies!
